Born and raised in Kalamazoo, MI. Graduated from Comstock High School and played baseball at KVCC before eventually earning a degree from Western Michigan University. I have been in the mortgage industry since 2012, working for two of the largest lenders in the country. I'm now proudly working as a mortgage broker back in my hometown of Kalamazoo, MI. Helping families in the same community I grew up in, realize their real estate goals and dreams.

Steps to becoming a homeowner.
Pre-Approval
The preliminary review of your finances where we look for general problems that may disqualify you for a mortgage loan and determine what you can afford. Fill out a mortgage application and know where you stand same day!
Underwriting
After you place an offer and it’s accepted, we will shop our network of home loan lenders for the best balance of rate, service, and speed to submit your loan for approval with that lender. An underwriter reviews your income, assets, and debts. You will pay for an appraisal up front, and homeowners’ insurance will need to be set up. We will communicate with the underwriters on your behalf, and alert you of any documentation needed.
Clear to Close
We have worked with the underwriter, and they have determined that you are an eligible borrower who is clear to close. At this time, we will be moving forward with your realtor and escrow officer to finalize documents and set up a closing date. This is your opportunity to review the mortgage loan and sign off.
Closing
Congratulations! The mortgage loan has been transferred and the property is yours! At this time the title has been recorded in your name and the seller has received the funds from escrow. You’re a homeowner! Hug someone, take some pictures, pop a bottle - however you want to celebrate!
